Infiltration of the Tea Party is an Alinsky Tactic

In his biography of Saul Alinsky, Sanford D. Horwitt recounts this incident in Alinsky’s life,
“…in the spring of 1972, at Tulane University…students asked Alinsky to help plan a protest of a scheduled speech by George H. W. Bush, then U.S. representative to the United Nations – a speech likely to include a defense of the Nixon administration’s Vietnam War policies. The students told Alinsky they were thinking about picketing or disrupting Bush’s address. That’s the wrong approach, he rejoined, not very creative – and besides causing a disruption might get them thrown out of school. He told them, instead, to go to hear the speech dressed as members of the Ku Klux Klan, and whenever Bush said something in defense of the Vietnam War, they should cheer and wave placards reading, ‘The KKK supports Bush.’ And that is what they did, with very successful, attention-getting results.”
The Tea Party MUST be aware of such wolf in sheep’s clothing attempts to bring discredit to the movement. It is the way the Left has been most successful at marginalizing its opposition, and the media eats it up.

Thanks for bringing this to people’s attention. As you know, conservatives tend to trust that people will do the right thing, so its good to be aware that this is not always the case & that there are those that are deliberately targeting us to discredit us. Forewarned is forearmed.
The trouble is, “they” can come to a great event and disrupt it just as Alinsky suggested in 1972. We make it easy for them. I have a hard time thiniing of how to do the same. Say, at a “coffee party” (ugh) event. Perhaps showing up as communists with red flags? Perhaps some sort of support as fascists? Trouble is, such groups might actually be somewhat welcomed! We make it too easy for them, but it is hard to play by their rules especially when one has ethics.
I have a suggestion, straight out of the movie “The Grapes of Wrath”. Everybody, arm yourself with hand-stunners. When these CoIntelPro provos show up and try to join the ranks, quietly zap them and leave them lying, and march on.
BTW, this trick was not invented by Alinsky; the very term “CoIntelPro” comes from the FBI. They invented the tactic, and Alinsky just picked up on it.

You have lots of excellent info here. I hope you post Part 5 soon. I have one suggestion. I think when you post Obama as the Joker it gives the radical left an excuse to label you as an extremist. I did not like it when they put a Hitler mustache on President Bush. Why not replace the Joker with a photo of Obama bowing to some foreign leader?

The easiest way to counter this is the bacon at the synagogue approach. Before each rally or meeting, recite the Pledge and a prayer. Anyone uncomfortable about either or both is suspect automatically. The prayer or equivalent in particular will weed out the irreligious. But really- the socialists are not particularly skillful in most cases. The long term sleeper agents of the elite are already elected officials, their new wave of agents have the subtle of cockroaches on a white linoleum floor.
